My Collection

Shortly after seeing the movie, I began to buy anything I saw that was Jaws related. In the days long before Home Video and the Internet this meant anything that I just happened to see in a store. As you can imagine, collecting was very slow in the beginning, and starting around 1976, toys began to slowly enter the market. In the early 1980's, pre-recorded video tapes became available and there was a resurgence of Jaws collectables. Then with Home Internet becoming available in the early 1990's, and the launch of eBay in 1995, the way we collected things changed forever.

Over the years as my collection grew, I still tried my best to display everything. As this became increasingly more difficult, I began to store items in plastic bins. Fast forward to 2025, and my collection has completely taken over a portion of my home, and the plastic bin count is at 110 and growing.

I have decided that a website would be the best way to show my collection. It is a "work-in-progress" and I am always adding to it and making changes. If you have questions about an item, I will be my best to answer it, but bear in mind that I don't remember where or when I bought most of these items. I'm also open to any thoughts on improving the website, so just send me a message!   thejawsvault@gmail.com
